Part of the guide How to buy

Short answer
At Lemon Creativo in Santo Domingo, quotes arrive within 24 to 48 hours. From artwork approval, a single item with simple branding takes 2 to 4 days; plaques and apparel, 5 to 7 days; and a full project, 10 to 18 business days. For an event with more than 100 pieces, plan at least 15 business days ahead.

Request quoteHow long does an order take, from request to delivery?
There are two clocks. The first is the quote: it arrives within 24 to 48 hours, with a mockup and an itemized price. The second is production, which starts when you approve the artwork and depends on the type of order.
| Order type | Catalog example | Lead time from artwork approval |
|---|---|---|
| Single item with simple branding (mugs, tumblers, pens, ready-made boxes) | Mug with cork base and lid, from RD$513 | 2 to 4 days, per the product page |
| Glass plaques, apparel, personal care kits | Birdseye polo shirt, from RD$787 | 5 to 7 days, per the product page |
| Full project: multi-item kits, special packaging, volume, or several deliveries | Welcome kits for a whole hiring class | 10 to 18 business days, depending on volume and method |
| Event with more than 100 pieces | Kits for a convention | At least 15 business days |
Reference prices before ITBIS tax, as of October 2026. Every product page lists its lead time: the round glass recognition plaque (from RD$1,316), for example, falls in the 5-to-7-day range.
When does the clock start?
When you approve the artwork, not at your first email or when the quote arrives. In between is the time that depends on your side: reviewing the proposal, getting internal sign-off, and confirming the mockup.
That is why two identical orders can arrive a week apart. The buyer who approved the artwork the day the quote came in gained that week; the one who waited for three signatures lost it.
What delays a corporate gift order?
Almost never production. What moves the date happens earlier, in the brief and the approvals.
| What happens | Why it delays | How to avoid it |
|---|---|---|
| The logo is not a vector file | It has to be redrawn or adjusted before the mockup | Send AI, EPS, SVG, or editable PDF in your first message |
| Several people approve | Each round of comments adds days before the clock starts | Name one person who approves artwork and quantity |
| Quantity or item changes after approval | Artwork, materials, and the production plan are redone | Close the list before approving; if unsure, ask for two scenarios |
| Sizes or names are missing | Apparel or named items cannot be produced blind | Collect the full list, in writing, before the brief |
| Nobody knows where or to whom it goes | Routes and per-person or per-site packing cannot be planned | Address, recipient, and hours for each drop-off |
| The product sold out while you decided | Catalog availability changes | Confirm availability when you approve, not weeks later |
For uniform orders, the size list is what slips most. Our guide to custom corporate uniforms explains how to collect it without mistakes.
How do you plan backward from your date?
Start from the day you need the items in hand, not the day of the celebration, and work back. An example using Monday-to-Friday business days: 120 kits for an event on Thursday, December 10, 2026.
| Step | Deadline | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Kits delivered | Wednesday, December 9 | One day before the event, to check and hand out calmly |
| Production | Thursday, November 19 to Wednesday, December 9 | More than 100 pieces: at least 15 business days, the minimum |
| Artwork approval | Wednesday, November 18 | The production clock starts here |
| Quote and mockup adjustments | November 12 to 17 | 24 to 48 hours for the quote, plus room for one round of changes |
| Brief sent | Wednesday, November 11, or earlier | With quantity, date, delivery location, and a vector logo |
The example uses the 15-business-day minimum. A kit with special packaging or several branding methods can take up to 18, so if you can, move everything three business days earlier. If a public holiday falls in your window, push the date back one day for each. And if your date is fixed, say so in your first message: we build the schedule backward from it. For year-end orders, the deadline for each type of gift is in where to order your company's Christmas gifts and by when; for the rest of the year, see the corporate dates calendar.
What if delivery goes to several sites or outside Santo Domingo?
Then it is planned as a full project, because each drop-off is part of the work. We offer fast delivery in the National District and coverage across the country, including individual deliveries to remote teams or multiple sites, with projects in Punta Cana, Santiago, and La Romana.
- By site: we pack by department or branch, with a list of who receives at each one.
- By person: each box goes to its own address. Our guide to sending kits to employees who work from home or in other cities explains how it is organized.
- Outside Santo Domingo: transport is built into the schedule from the quote, so the date we give you is the delivery date at the destination.
For each drop-off we need the address, the recipient, and the hours. Details are in logistics and delivery by site, city, or event.
How we handle it at Lemon
A request we get often reads like this: "I'd like the quote sometime this week, so we can send each item to production." The quote arrives within 24 to 48 hours; what sets the final date is when the artwork is approved. That is why the quote already tells you how many days your order takes and when they start counting.
- Brief with purpose, quantity, real delivery date, address, and a vector logo.
- Quote within 24 to 48 hours with a mockup, an itemized price, and a written lead time.
- Artwork approval and, when it applies, sample approval.
- Production and piece-by-piece quality control.
- Packing and delivery to one location, per person, or per site.
Two numbers from our operation for planning: July is our busiest month (because of Father's Day, which in the DR falls on the last Sunday of July), followed by November and December. In those months, write to us earlier. And if you are unsure about quantity, our guide to minimum orders and how many to buy helps you settle it fast.
The full process is in how we work, from brief to delivery, and what to demand from any supplier is in our guide to choosing a corporate gifts supplier.
Request your quote with the date you need: we reply within 24 to 48 hours with a written lead time and a backward schedule.
Frequently asked questions
Can I place a rush corporate gift order?
It depends on the item. A single item with simple branding takes 2 to 4 days from artwork approval, per the product page. What shortens the path most is a vector logo, a single approver, and choosing products that are available in the catalog.
Are lead times counted in business days?
For full projects, yes: 10 to 18 business days, and at least 15 for an event with more than 100 pieces. Single items (2 to 4 days) and plaques or apparel (5 to 7 days) follow what each product page lists. All of them start at artwork approval.
What happens if I change the quantity after approving the artwork?
The timeline is recalculated. More units can mean more production time or restocking materials, and a different item goes back through artwork. If the quantity is not final yet, say so in the brief and we will quote two scenarios.
How long does delivery outside Santo Domingo take?
We cover the whole country and have run projects in Punta Cana, Santiago, and La Romana. Transport is built into the schedule from the quote, so the date we give you is the delivery date at your office or hotel.
