Request quoteWhich garment does each team need?
Pick the garment for what each person does all day, not for how it looks in a photo. The same logo works differently on a front-desk polo shirt than on an event T-shirt worn in the sun.
- Front desk and sales: a collared polo shirt. It stays neat all day and takes embroidery on the chest.
- Operations, warehouse, and field staff: a T-shirt or polo in technical fabric that dries fast and handles frequent washing. For rain, yards, or logistics, a waterproof jacket.
- Events, trade shows, and activations: a T-shirt and a cap. They are worn for a day or two, so color and visibility matter most.
- Office and representation: an embroidered piqué polo. If your company prefers an Oxford button-down, ask for it in your quote, since availability changes.
Not every department needs the same garment. What must repeat is the logo: the same file, in the same position, at the same size on every piece. That way the team looks like one team even if some wear polos and others T-shirts.
For daily uniforms, also decide how many pieces per person. With only one, the garment is washed every night and wears out much faster. Base the number on how many days a week it is worn, and leave room for people who join during the year.
How much do company uniforms cost in the DR?
At Lemon, a branded polo shirt starts at RD$787 and a T-shirt at RD$517, reference prices before ITBIS tax as of September 2026. The final price depends on quantity, branding method, and how many logo positions you need.
| Garment | Fabric | Methods on the product page | Reference price from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Birdseye dry fit T-shirt | 100% polyester, crew neck | DTF, sublimation, or embroidery | RD$517 |
| Cotton T-shirt (Bob Cab) | 180 g cotton | Full-color DTF or embroidery | RD$588 |
| Birdseye polo shirt | 100% polyester, collar and 3 buttons | DTF, sublimation, or embroidery | RD$787 |
| Piqué polo shirt | 60% cotton, 40% polyester | Embroidery or DTF | RD$809 |
| Dry fit polo shirt | 100% polyester, collar and 3 buttons | DTF, sublimation, or embroidery | RD$874 |
| Caps (two-tone, bull denim, GAP style, microfiber) | Depends on the model | Embroidery or DTF | RD$410 |
| Hoodie | Polyester, hooded | Embroidery or DTF | RD$1,414 |
| Waterproof safety jacket | Waterproof polyester with lining | Embroidery or DTF | RD$3,221 |
Caps range from RD$410 (two-tone cap) to RD$650 (microfiber cap with a DTF logo). When comparing suppliers, ask for an itemized price: garment, branding, and packaging if any. You will see what you are paying for and where to adjust without lowering quality, for example with the logo in one position instead of two.
Which fabric handles the Dominican heat?
For long shifts in the heat, technical fabric performs best: dry fit and birdseye are 100% polyester, lightweight, breathable, and fast-drying. Cotton feels soft but absorbs sweat and dries slowly. Piqué sits in between: it contains cotton and looks more formal.
The full comparison, including what works for daily wear and what works for a one-day event, is in birdseye, dry fit, or piqué: which fabric to choose for company polo shirts.
Embroidery or DTF for the uniform logo?
Embroidery for everyday garments and simple logos; DTF for logos with many colors, gradients, or large areas. The full comparison, including sublimation and catalog examples, is in embroidery, DTF, screen printing, or sublimation: how to choose.
How do you collect sizes so nothing is left over or missing?
Ask each person for their size, in writing, before production. Guessing "a few mediums and a few larges" is a mistake we see often in uniform orders: a garment that does not fit does not get worn, however good the fabric.
- Build a list with name, department, garment, size, and men's or women's cut when it applies.
- When in doubt, try on first. One sample per size stops people from guessing the size they think they wear.
- Check the size range on the product page. The piqué polo runs from size 14 to XXL; the dry fit and birdseye polos from 16 to XXL; the birdseye T-shirt and the hoodie from XS to XXL.
- Order a few extras in the most common sizes for new hires or last-minute swaps.
With that list we can pack by person, department, or site, so everyone gets their own pieces and HR does not have to re-sort boxes.
How long does a uniform order take?
Textiles take 5 to 7 days from artwork approval, depending on the item. Lead times start when you approve the artwork, not when you request the quote.
| Order type | Lead time from artwork approval |
|---|---|
| Single item with simple branding (cap, mug, pen) | 2 to 4 days, depending on the item |
| Textiles: polo shirts, T-shirts | 5 to 7 days, depending on the item |
| Full project: several garments, special packaging, volume, or several deliveries | 10 to 18 business days, depending on volume and method |
For an event with more than 100 pieces, plan at least 15 business days ahead. If your date is fixed, say so in your first message and we will build the schedule backward from it.
How we produce your uniforms, from size list to delivery
Orders are smaller than most people expect: our median order is 15 units, and half of all orders fall between 4 and 50. You do not need to outfit the whole company at once to get started.
- Brief: garment, quantity, size list, logo position, date, and delivery location. A vector logo (AI, EPS, SVG, or editable PDF) saves a step.
- Quote within 24 to 48 hours, with a mockup of the garment with your brand and an itemized price.
- Artwork approval and, when it applies, approval of a physical sample.
- Production and piece-by-piece quality control: logo position, color, and size checked against your list.
- Packing and delivery to one location, per person, or per site.
A mistake we see often: approving a logo designed for screens, with gradients or very thin lettering, for embroidery. In the mockup we tell you whether to simplify it or switch to DTF before production, not after.
How do you care for and reorder uniforms?
Wash inside out, skip high-heat drying, and never iron directly on the logo. Colors and embroidery last longer, and the team does not end up in mismatched shades.
Uniforms get reordered: people join and garments wear out. Keep the logo file, the garment reference, and the approved color so the second run matches the first. 35% of our customers come back to buy again, and with uniforms, having the previous order on file is what keeps the team looking consistent over time.
