Short answer
Father's Day (July) and Christmas are the busiest dates at Lemon Creativo: 43 orders in July 2025 and 48 in July 2026; Mother's Day and Secretaries' Day also carry weight. A full project takes 10 to 18 business days from artwork approval, so order about a month ahead. Lemon Creativo is based in Santo Domingo.

Request quoteWhich corporate dates are celebrated in the Dominican Republic, and when?
There are nine fixed dates plus one that runs all year. The table shows who each one is for, what companies usually give, and the latest day to approve the artwork for a full project (10 to 18 business days). Reference prices in Dominican pesos (RD$), before ITBIS (the Dominican VAT), as of September 2026.
| Month | Date | Who it's for | What companies usually give | Approve artwork by |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| March | March 8, International Women's Day | Female employees and clients | "Admirable woman" set (RD$725), mugs or keychains with each employee's name; see Women's Day gifts | First week of February |

| May | May 1, Labor Day | The whole team | T-shirts, caps, tumblers; see Labor Day gifts | First week of April |
| May | Last Sunday of May, Mother's Day | Employees who are mothers, clients | Mother's Day mug set (RD$482), "Coffee with Mom" box (RD$2,750); see Mother's Day gifts | Late April |

| October | October 19, International Breast Cancer Awareness Day (the whole month is "Pink October") | Team and internal campaigns | Pins, mugs and bags with a prevention message; see Pink October items | First half of September, to have it on October 1 |
| December | Christmas and year-end | Team, clients, partners and leadership | Christmas boxes from RD$918 to RD$6,159; see the Christmas selection | November 19, 2026, for delivery on December 15 |
| All year | Birthdays, work anniversaries and new hires | Each person, on their day | Mugs or keychains with each employee's name, plaques, welcome kits | Set up once with an annual plan |
Two details change the math. Mother's Day and Father's Day fall on a Sunday, so the gift has to be at the office by Friday. And the May 1 holiday can move to Monday under Law 139-97 (in 2026 it was observed on Monday, May 4). If you hand out gifts on the last working day before the holiday, that is your real deadline.
How do you work out when to order?
Count backward from the day you need the gift in hand, not from the celebration. It's a mistake we see often: a company plans around July 26 when the gift was needed on the 24th.
Lead times, always counted from artwork approval:
| Order type | Lead time | Approve artwork |
|---|---|---|
| Single item with simple branding (mugs, tumblers, pens, ready-made boxes) | 2 to 4 days | One week before delivery |
| Glass plaques, apparel, personal care kits | 5 to 7 days | Two weeks before |
| Full project (multi-item kits, special packaging, volume, several deliveries) | 10 to 18 business days | Four weeks before |
| Event with more than 100 pieces | At least 15 business days | Four weeks before, or earlier |
Add one more week to request the quote (we reply within 24–48 hours), review the mockup and get internal sign-off. If there are holidays in between, such as Holy Week in March or April, add those days too.
What is the busiest season of the year?
July. It is the month with the most orders: 43 in 2025 and 48 in 2026, almost all for Father's Day. November and December follow, with 37 orders each in 2025, for Christmas and year-end.
What that means for you: production fills up in June and November. Companies that approve artwork by late June, or before November 19, get to choose freely. Those who arrive in the last week are limited to items that can be made in 2 to 4 days.
Which year-end dates matter for company gifts?
Christmas, the close of the year and, for many companies, the year-end party. Most deliver in the first half of December, before vacations start and traffic gets heavy.
December is the date with the most audiences at once: team, clients, partners and leadership. Give each group its own per-person budget. Our guide on where to order your company's Christmas gifts and the deadlines lists the 2026 cut-off dates by order type, and the one on corporate Christmas boxes covers what to put inside.
How do you build an annual corporate gift calendar?
With five pieces of information per date. When you have them, quoting and production move fast; when one is missing, everything slows down.
- The real delivery date, not the celebration date.
- Quantity per group: how many employees, how many clients, how many locations.
- Budget per person in each group. Our guide to corporate gifts by budget has priced examples.
- Branding and packaging level: logo only, or logo plus each person's name. If names are included, the name list is part of the artwork and it can't be approved without it.
- Internal approval time: how many days your company takes to say yes.
You don't need to map the whole year on day one. Start with the three dates that matter most to your company (usually Father's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas) and add the rest later.
Birthdays, work anniversaries and new hires have no fixed date: they happen every week. That is what the annual gift plan is for. You approve it once and gifts go out all year. Our guide to year-round employee birthday and anniversary gifts explains how it works.
Which company-specific dates should you add?
The ones only your company celebrates. They aren't on any public calendar, but they often say the most about your brand, and they tend to be forgotten until the week before.
- Your company anniversary: a milestone year calls for something people keep, for the team and for the clients who were there from the start. See company anniversary gifts.
- Shareholder meetings, conventions and annual gatherings: many requests reach us because of an assembly or a convention. These dates are fixed and known months ahead.
- Launches and project wrap-ups: the gift should arrive while the achievement is fresh, not a month later.
- Visits from clients or partners abroad: you know the travel date, so the welcome gift can be ready in advance.
Put them on the same calendar as the rest, with the real delivery date and the quantity. They follow the same rule: a month ahead for a full project.
How we work back from your delivery date
Most orders reach us because of a specific date. A typical request reads: "I'd like to have the quote sometime this week… so we can send each item to production." Time is almost always tight, so this is how we work:
- We ask for your delivery date, not the celebration date. We count backward from it and tell you what is and isn't possible.
- Quote within 24–48 hours, with a mockup of your brand and itemized pricing: product, branding, packaging and service.
- If the date is too close, we say so and suggest 2-to-4-day items instead of promising a kit that won't make it.
- We deliver to one location, per person or per office. Fast delivery in Santo Domingo's National District and coverage across the country.
Orders are smaller than people think: the median is 15 units and half of all orders fall between 4 and 50. You don't need to be a large company to plan the year ahead.
