Short answer
At Lemon Creativo in Santo Domingo, every product page shows an estimated minimum: for 216 of the 224 available products it is 1 unit, and the final minimum is confirmed in the quote by branding method and packaging. The median order is 15 units, half fall between 4 and 50, and quotes arrive within 24 to 48 hours.

Request quoteIs there a minimum order for promotional products?
It depends on the item and the branding method, and every product page shows its estimated minimum. As of October 1, 2026, that minimum is 1 unit for 216 of the 224 available products. There are exceptions: the Bob Cab cotton T-shirt, for example, lists 24. We confirm the final minimum in your quote, because it changes with the branding method and the packaging you choose.
Put simply, some items we make from a single unit, like plaques, and others are better ordered in a batch so the branding setup pays off. Being able to order one does not mean one is the right number. Use decides that.
| Product | Estimated minimum on the page | Reference price from | How it is usually ordered |
|---|---|---|---|
| Round glass recognition plaque | 1 | RD$1,316 | One at a time, with the person's name |
| Mug with cork base and lid | 1 | RD$513 | By name list; our most ordered item since 2025 |
| Full-color metal pin | 1 | RD$449 | About 50 units per order |
| Bob Cab cotton T-shirt | 24 | RD$588 | In batches, with a size list |

How many units does a company usually order?
Fewer than most people think. Across our operation (570 orders between March 2024 and September 2026), the median order is 15 units, and half of all orders fall between 4 and 50 units. Recognition plaques are almost always ordered one at a time, and metal pins at about 50 per order.
If your list is short, you do not need to pad it to be taken seriously. Twelve mugs with the company logo and each employee's name is a normal order.
How many should you order for each use?
Count people, not budget. The most expensive mistake is starting from a round number ("100 of everything") and splitting it later: half ends up in a drawer, or a whole department is left out.
| Use | How to count | What works |
|---|---|---|
| Internal team (birthdays, holidays, welcome) | A list of people by name | Named items exact; unnamed items with a few extra for upcoming hires |
| Clients | A real list, split by tier | One quantity per tier (courtesy, standard, premium), not a single figure |
| Event, trade show, or conference | Confirmed attendees plus staff | The everyone item in volume, and a higher-value piece for key contacts |
| Recognition | One per person recognized | One plaque each, with the name and the reason |
| Uniforms | People × pieces per person, by size | The size list before production |
For clients, the three-tier method with price examples is in what corporate gift you can give for each budget. For events, the full count (pieces per attendee and what to hold in reserve) is in what merchandising to bring to a trade show or conference.
How many extras should you order?
Just enough for cases you can name. A "just in case" margin with no reason behind it is money sitting in a box. Before adding extras, ask three questions:
- Who is joining in the next few months? Ask HR how many hires are planned. That number is your margin for welcome items.
- How many people showed up unconfirmed last time? For events, your last event's numbers beat any general rule.
- Which sizes come up most? For uniforms, a few extra pieces in those sizes cover swaps and new staff.
What does not work is ordering extras of items with each person's name: a mug with a name that is not on the list helps no one. If someone joins later, order their piece separately, using the artwork from the previous order.
Does the unit price drop if you order more?
For many items, yes. Catalog prices are reference prices and vary with quantity, branding method, and packaging. Part of the branding work (preparing the artwork, adjusting the method to the item) is the same for 10 units as for 100, and in a larger batch that work is spread across more pieces. How much the price drops depends on the product and the method, so there is no single table that fits everything.
The practical move: request your quote for two or three quantities (say 15, 30, and 50) and compare the unit price and the total. Sometimes the difference justifies ordering the whole half-year at once; sometimes it does not, and it is better to order what you will use now. Price ranges by item type are in how much promotional products cost in the DR.

How we handle it at Lemon
When someone writes in with a quantity, our first question is what it is for and who it is for. With that, we can tell you whether the number makes sense, which minimum applies to each item, and where to adjust.
- Brief: purpose, audience, headcount, date, and delivery location. If items carry names, the list.
- Quote within 24 to 48 hours, with a mockup, an itemized price, and, if you ask, several quantities to compare.
- Confirmed minimum for each item, based on the branding method and packaging you choose.
- Artwork approval and production with piece-by-piece quality control.
- Delivery to one location, per person, or per site.
35% of our customers come back to buy again, so you do not need to solve the whole year in one order. Every step is laid out in how we run an order from start to finish, and what to ask any supplier before you buy is in our guide to choosing a corporate gifts supplier.
Request your quote with the item, quantity, and date: we reply within 24 to 48 hours with the confirmed minimum and an itemized price.
Frequently asked questions
Can I order a single branded item?
For most of the catalog, yes: as of October 1, 2026, 216 of the 224 available products show an estimated minimum of 1 unit. Recognition plaques, for example, are almost always ordered one at a time. The final minimum is confirmed in the quote based on branding method and packaging.
How many promotional items should I order for an event?
Count confirmed attendees, not invitations, and add the staff working the event. The item everyone gets goes in volume; the higher-value piece goes only to key contacts. For trade shows and conferences, our trade show merchandising guide walks through the full math.
Does the unit price go down if I order more?
For many items, yes, because price varies with quantity, branding method, and packaging. How much it drops depends on the product, so the practical move is to request a quote for two or three quantities and compare the unit price.
Can I reorder later with the same design?
Yes. The second run uses the artwork you already approved; before production we confirm the product and color are still available. You do not need to buy the whole year's supply at once.
