At Lemon, a polo shirt with your logo starts at RD$712 in birdseye fabric with DTF or sublimation, and at RD$787 if the logo is embroidered. These are reference prices before ITBIS tax, as of October 2026, and they change with quantity, method, and logo positions. Here are the three models we carry today, with the data from each product page:
| Model | Fabric | With DTF or sublimation | Embroidered | Colors | Sizes | Production |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Birdseye polo shirt | 100% polyester, open-hole knit | RD$712 | RD$787 | 16 | 16 to XXL | 5 to 7 days |
| Dry fit polo shirt | 100% polyester | RD$799 | RD$874 | 11 | 16 to XXL | 2 to 4 days |
| Piqué polo shirt | 60% cotton, 40% polyester | RD$809 (DTF only) | RD$884 | 14 | 14 to XXL | 5 to 7 days |
All three have a collar and three buttons. Piqué cannot be sublimated because it contains cotton, and on the other two sublimation only works on light colors. Which fabric suits each job (heat, office, field work) is covered in birdseye, dry fit, or piqué: which to choose. Here we focus on what purchasing asks: price, lead time, and the details of the polo itself.
Why does an embroidered polo cost more than a printed one?
Because embroidery is thread stitched one stitch at a time, and on our product pages it adds RD$75 per piece over DTF on all three models. For 30 birdseye polos at list price, that comes to RD$21,353 with DTF versus RD$23,603 embroidered: a RD$2,250 difference, before tax.
When is it worth it? When the polo is worn every day and the logo is simple: embroidery has texture, looks more formal, and survives many washes. If the logo has gradients, many colors, or goes large on the back, DTF reproduces it better and costs less. The full comparison of methods is in embroidery, DTF, screen printing, or sublimation: how to choose.
How long does a polo shirt order take?
Two to seven days from artwork approval, depending on the model: the dry fit polo page lists 2 to 4 days, and the birdseye and piqué pages list 5 to 7. The clock starts when you approve the artwork, not when you request the quote.
- Before production: the quote and mockup arrive within 24 to 48 hours. What usually takes longest is collecting sizes and getting the artwork signed off.
- More than 100 pieces for a fixed date: plan at least 15 business days ahead.
- Polos plus caps, per-person packing, or deliveries to several sites: it becomes a full project, 10 to 18 business days depending on volume and method.
Where does the logo go on a polo shirt?
Almost always on the left chest. It is the spot people see in a meeting, in a photo, and behind a counter. Every extra position after that is a budget decision:
- Left chest: the main logo, embroidered or DTF.
- Right chest: the person's name or department. With DTF, each piece can carry a different name.
- Sleeve: a small logo, a sub-brand, or a tagline.
- Back: upper back, below the collar, for a discreet logo; full back for street teams or events. For a full back, use DTF.
The piqué product page states that its price covers the logo in one position. If you want two or more on any model, ask for it in your quote: each position is a separate line item, so you can see what it adds and decide. A detail few people check: the same logo at the same size looks bigger on a size 16 than on an XXL. We adjust it in the mockup.
Are there men's and women's fits?
The birdseye polo page describes a classic unisex fit, and that is what we quote by default. If part of your team prefers a women's fit, more tailored, ask for it in your quote: we confirm availability by model, color, and size before production rather than assuming it.
With a unisex fit, the size someone usually wears may fit differently. That is why it pays to have the team try samples before you close the list. How to build the full list is covered in our guide to custom corporate uniforms.
How can you tell a polo is good quality before ordering them all?
Ask for a sample and check it against this list. If there is time, wash it once before approving the batch:
- Collar: it should not curl or lose its shape after washing.
- Shoulder and side seams: straight, with no loose threads.
- Buttons: all three securely sewn and lined up with the buttonholes.
- Color: the one you approved, and even across pieces in the same batch.
- Logo: in the position and size shown in the mockup. Embroidery without puckering around it; DTF without lifted edges.
- Size: the label should match how it fits the person who tried it on.
How we quote your polo shirts at Lemon
The first thing we ask is not the color but where the people wearing the polo work. That tells us which fabric and method to recommend, and the price is clear from the start. You do not need to outfit the whole company at once: our median order is 15 units, and half of all orders fall between 4 and 50.
- You tell us: use, quantity, size list, color, logo positions, and date. A vector logo (AI, EPS, SVG, or editable PDF) helps.
- Within 24 to 48 hours you get a mockup and an itemized price: polo, branding per position, and packaging if any.
- You approve the artwork and, for large orders, a physical sample.
- We produce in 2 to 7 days, depending on the product page, and check every piece against your size list.
- We deliver to one location, per site, or packed per person.
Three mistakes we see often: embroidering a logo with gradients, asking for sublimation on a dark polo, and placing a second batch months later without keeping the color reference, so the team ends up in two shades. 35% of our customers buy from us again, and with polos, having the previous order on file is what lets you reorder an exact match.
If the polo is for a one-day event rather than daily wear, a T-shirt may suit you better: see event T-shirts: how many to order and which method. Every model, with its colors, is in branded polo shirts, T-shirts, and uniforms.
Request your quote with the model, quantity per size, and date: we reply within 24 to 48 hours with a mockup and an itemized price.
Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for polo shirts?
The product page for all three polos shows an estimated minimum of 1 unit. The final minimum is confirmed in your quote, based on the method and packaging.
