Is birdseye fabric the same as dry fit?

Which one handles the Dominican heat best?

Birdseye. It is polyester, lightweight, vents through the holes in the knit, and dries fast, so people do not end the day with a shirt stuck to their back. Smooth dry fit behaves almost the same, with slightly less airflow.

Piqué is comfortable in an air-conditioned office, but in the sun the cotton absorbs sweat and dries slowly. For a team that spends the day outdoors, in a loading yard, or at an open-air activation, piqué is not the best choice even if it looks more formal.

Which one for daily wear, and which for an event?

Which fabric works best with embroidery, DTF, or sublimation?

Piqué takes embroidery best because the fabric has body. Birdseye and dry fit accept all three methods, and they are the only ones of the three that take sublimation.

• Embroidery on piqué: the most formal and longest-lasting finish, the classic chest logo.
• Embroidery on birdseye or dry fit: possible, but the fabric is thin and needs the right backing so it does not pucker around the logo. We check it in the mockup.
• DTF: works on all three. It is the option for multi-color logos or a large back design.
• Sublimation: only on light-colored birdseye or dry fit. It does not apply to piqué because of the cotton.

How should each fabric be washed so it lasts?

All three last longer when washed inside out in cold or warm water, without high-heat drying and without ironing directly on the logo.

• Birdseye and dry fit: they air-dry quickly and barely wrinkle. Go easy on fabric softener, which clogs the knit and makes it feel warmer.
• Piqué: takes longer to dry. If you iron it, do it inside out and away from the embroidery.
