Why do team birthdays become a problem?

Because they run on memory. With 150 employees you get about 12 birthdays a month, and each one depends on someone remembering, buying, personalizing and delivering on time. Miss one and that person notices, and so does everyone else.

Who handles employee birthday and anniversary gifts?

How does a year-round program come together?

1. Pick a fixed gift per occasion. One or two for birthdays and one per anniversary tier (for example 1, 5 and 10 years). Artwork is approved once.
2. Load the list into your Lemon account. For each person: name as they spell it, birthday (day and month), hire date, and delivery site or address.
3. Set the budget, per occasion or for the year, and the year's calendar is ready.
4. On each date, the order is generated automatically, ready to produce with each person's name.
5. We produce and deliver to each site or each person, with every employee's name on their package.
6. You track it from your account. You see what is committed and delivered for the year, and update the list when someone joins or leaves.

Which gift should you standardize?

How does delivery work across several sites or franchises?

By site, with each person's name on their package. Delivering by site avoids scattered shipments: the site manager receives the gifts for their people and just hands them out on the day.

What about work anniversaries?

How we build your birthday and anniversary calendar

Three things from our operation make the program work:

• Small orders are normal. Our median order is 15 units, so a monthly batch of 8 or 12 birthdays is routine.
• Each employee's name is already part of the process. Company logo, name and a short line is one of our most common requests. We check every name on the list against the artwork proof before production.
• July doesn't catch you off guard. It is our busiest month because of Father's Day. With the year approved, your July birthdays are already in production before the peak.

A mistake we see often is approving everything from scratch each month: a new quote, new artwork, another sign-off. Three months in, someone falls behind and a birthday gift arrives late.
