Choose the cap by how much it will be worn and where. For a daily uniform, one that looks neat and survives washing; for work in the sun, one that holds its shape; for a one-day activation, a moderately priced, fast option with a highly visible logo.
- GAP style: the classic six-panel cap in soft drill fabric, with a buckle at the back. It is the most formal option and pairs with the polo shirts of sales or customer service teams.
- Reinforced bull denim: heavy fabric and reinforced panels that do not collapse. It is for field work, operations, and heavy daily use.
- Two-tone: six-panel bull denim in two colors, with a half-moon detail on the visor. It is the fastest option (2 to 4 days): the pick for activations, trade shows, and tournaments on a tight date.
- ST-72 microfiber: light and breathable, for people who spend the day outdoors and want a cap that does not feel heavy.
- Trucker and dry fit: both are popular searches; they show as out of stock in our catalog right now. See below for how to request them.

Each product page shows an estimated minimum of one unit; the final minimum is confirmed in your quote based on the branding method. Caps are also listed with the rest of our apparel in branded textiles and uniforms.
What is a GAP-style cap, and why is it so popular?
It is the classic six-panel cap in soft drill fabric with a buckle closure at the back. It is popular because it looks the most like a retail cap: no mesh, no thick seams, a fine adjustment with the buckle, and a clean embroidered front.
That makes it the uniform cap for sales teams, customer service, supervisors, and anyone who faces clients. Our product page lists it in black, navy, red, white, khaki, royal blue, and gray, with the logo embroidered or DTF printed.
Bull denim or GAP style: which lasts longer?
Bull denim. The fabric is heavier and the six panels are reinforced, so the cap keeps its shape even when it gets wet, folded into a pocket, or worn all day in the sun. The Velcro closure is easy to adjust with gloves on or in a hurry.
The GAP style is softer and looks more formal, but it loses shape sooner under rough use. A practical rule: GAP style for offices and client-facing staff; bull denim for operations, construction, agriculture, couriers, and field teams. Bull denim also costs less (embroidered, RD$466 versus RD$553) and comes in more colors to match your brand.
What about trucker and dry fit caps?
They show as out of stock in our catalog right now, and we would rather tell you before you build them into your plan. If you need them, ask for them in your quote with the quantity and date: we will confirm whether we can source them and how long it takes.
- Trucker: foam front and mesh back. It breathes well, has a youthful look, and the front takes a full-color logo nicely. It is a staple of activations, launches, and outdoor events.
- Dry fit: lightweight, quick-drying technical polyester. It suits races, tournaments, and sports days.
In the meantime, for a light and cool cap, the ST-72 microfiber cap is available; and for an activation on a short timeline, the two-tone cap is ready in 2 to 4 days.
Embroidery or DTF on a cap?
Embroidery for uniform caps and simple logos; DTF for logos with many colors, gradients, or fine lettering. Every available model takes both, and on all four, embroidery costs RD$75 more per cap than DTF.
- Embroidery: raised texture, lasts for years, and looks formal. It works best with logos that have few colors and bold strokes.
- DTF: reproduces the logo in full color and in detail. It is the option for an activation or for a logo that cannot be simplified.
The front is the main position; the sides or back are quoted as extra positions. The full comparison of methods, with other catalog items, is in embroidery, DTF, screen printing, or sublimation: how to choose.
How many caps should you order for an activation or a uniform?
One advantage caps have over T-shirts: no sizes. Every model we carry has an adjustable closure, so you only decide quantity and color.
- Uniform: one or two per person, depending on whether they are worn daily, plus a few for people who join during the year.
- Activation or trade show: the staff working the event plus the ones you will give away. To estimate how many to bring to a trade show, our guide to trade show and convention merchandise has a simple method.
If the caps go out with T-shirts, bags, or a kit, it is planned as a full project: 10 to 18 business days. For events with more than 100 pieces, allow at least 15 business days.
How we handle your cap order at Lemon
You do not need a big order to get started: our median order is 15 units. The process is the same for 12 caps as for 200:
- Brief: model or use, quantity, color, logo position, and date.
- Quote within 24â48 hours, with a mockup and an itemized price: cap, branding, and positions.
- Artwork approval and, when it applies, approval of an embroidered sample.
- Production and piece-by-piece quality control: the logo centered, at the same height, and in the approved color on every cap.
- Packing and delivery to one location, per department, or per site.
Two mistakes we see often. First, approving a logo with very small lettering for embroidery: the front of a cap has little room and those letters close up; in the mockup we tell you whether to simplify it or switch to DTF. Second, asking for "blue" without saying which: navy, royal blue, and sky blue look very different. Use the color name from the product page.
If the cap is part of a uniform, our guide to custom corporate uniforms helps you match it with the rest of the garments. For an outdoor event, round out the kit with custom logo umbrellas.
