For RD$1,500 per person, a useful four-item kit fits; for RD$3,000, a five-item kit with materials people notice; and for RD$5,000, one with tech and higher-end pieces. All three are below, built item by item from products available in Lemon's catalog.
The ground rules: per-unit reference prices before ITBIS tax, as of October 2026. Each kit lands a little under its cap to leave room for packaging and delivery, which are confirmed in the quote. The final price changes with quantity and branding method.
If you are still deciding which items are essential, start with what to include in an employee welcome kit. And if the gift is not for new hires, the guide to corporate gifts by budget covers every occasion.
What does a RD$1,500 welcome kit include?
Four items people use from day one, for RD$1,437:
| Item | Branding method | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Cork-base mug with lid | Full-color sublimation | RD$513 |
| A5 PU notebook with logo | UV printing | RD$522 |
| Trocum metal pen | UV printing | RD$178 |
| Sewn polypropylene tote | DTF | RD$224 |
| Total | RD$1,437 |
The cork-base mug with lid has been our most-requested product since 2025, and A5 PU notebooks are on that list too. The tote doubles as packaging: the new hire gets everything together and carries it home.
If you prefer a box to a tote, the EcoImpact corporate set includes a cork-base mug, an A5 PU notebook, and a Trocum pen in a kraft box with ribbon and crinkle paper, for RD$1,688. It goes slightly over the cap, but it arrives assembled.
What changes with a RD$3,000 welcome kit?
The materials change: steel instead of ceramic, a planner instead of a notebook, and a lanyard for the first-day ID badge. Five items for RD$2,907:
| Item | Branding method | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Silver-rim insulated tumbler | Laser engraving or UV printing | RD$1,133 |
| Semi-leather planner | Sublimation | RD$713 |
| Metal stylus pen | Laser engraving or UV printing | RD$260 |
| Safety-buckle lanyard | DTF | RD$295 |
| 14.5 x 16.5" canvas tote bag | DTF | RD$506 |
| Total | RD$2,907 |
At this tier the kit starts to feel made for the person: the tumbler gets used every day and the lanyard handles the badge. If you want it boxed, the executive welcome set (planner, metal pen, and insulated tumbler in a black rigid box with ribbon and card) is RD$2,819, and the new-hire welcome kit (bamboo notebook and pen with an insulated tumbler, in a box with a "Welcome to the family" card) is RD$2,934.
Is a RD$5,000 welcome kit worth it?
It is for key roles, managers, or whenever the first impression carries real weight. What you add is not more items but tech and higher-end pieces. Five items for RD$4,715:
| Item | Branding method | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 24 oz Owala-style tumbler | Laser engraving or UV printing | RD$1,372 |
| 10,000 mAh power bank | UV printing | RD$2,075 |
| Semi-leather planner | Sublimation | RD$713 |
| Metal stylus pen | Laser engraving or UV printing | RD$260 |
| Safety-buckle lanyard | DTF | RD$295 |
| Total | RD$4,715 |
Ready-made in a rigid box, the premium 4-piece bamboo gift box (insulated tumbler, notebook, pen, and keychain, with ribbon and card) is RD$3,794, and the bamboo set with a smart tumbler, pen, and USB drive in a magnetic rigid box is RD$4,187.
Should you build it item by item or order a ready-made kit?
Item by item when you want to pick each piece for the role; ready-made when it matters that it arrives boxed with no extra decisions. Here is how they compare:
| Item by item | Catalog kit | |
|---|---|---|
| What you choose | Every item, by role | A combination already worked out; one item can be swapped |
| Packaging | Tote, kraft box, or rigid box, confirmed in the quote | As listed on the product page |
| Reference price per tier | RD$1,437 · RD$2,907 · RD$4,715 | RD$1,688 · RD$2,819 to RD$2,934 · RD$3,794 to RD$4,187 |
| Lead time from artwork approval | 2 to 4 days per item, depending on the item; with special packaging or volume, 10 to 18 business days | 2 to 4 days, depending on the item |
If people join your company all year, the practical move is a standard kit you restock. We explain it in how to organize welcome kits when people join all year.
How we build your welcome kit at Lemon
Welcome kit orders tend to be small: our median order is 15 units and half of all orders fall between 4 and 50. A group of 8 people starting next month is a normal order. If you are unsure how many to order, see what the minimum order is and how many to buy.
- Brief: how many people are joining, the roles, the budget per person, the start date, and whether you want each person's name.
- Quote within 24 to 48 hours, with a mockup of the kit with your brand and itemized pricing: product, branding, packaging, and service.
- Artwork approval and, when it applies, approval of a sample.
- Production and piece-by-piece quality control.
- Packing and delivery to one location, per person, or per site.
A mistake we see often: setting the budget without counting packaging or delivery, then finding out in the quote that the kit goes over the cap. That is why all three kits above land under their amount.
Another: ordering the kit the same week people start. Each item takes 2 to 4 days, but from artwork approval, which comes after the quote. For the full cycle, read how long a corporate gift order takes.
Adding each person's name is one of our most common requests: the mug or tumbler with the company logo and the new hire's name. The base kit is produced in a batch, and the named item is made once you confirm who is joining.
Other kit types are in the custom corporate kits guide. If you would rather have someone handle the whole process, see our welcome kits for new employees.
Request your quote with the budget per person and the next start date: we reply within 24 to 48 hours with a mockup and itemized pricing.
Frequently asked questions
How much does an employee welcome kit cost?
Built item by item from Lemon's catalog, RD$1,437 (four items) to RD$4,715 (five items with a power bank); ready-made in a box, RD$1,688 to RD$4,187. Reference prices before ITBIS tax, as of October 2026.
Does the per-person budget include packaging?
For a kit built item by item, packaging and delivery are confirmed in the quote, so leave a margin under your cap. For catalog kits, the product page lists the presentation included.
Can each employee's name go on the kit?
Yes, on one item: the mug, the tumbler, or the planner. The base kit is produced in a batch, and the named item is made once you confirm who is joining.
What if my budget falls between two tiers?
Swap one item instead of lowering the quality of all of them. For example, the RD$5,000 kit with a wireless charger (RD$728) instead of the power bank comes to RD$3,368.
