Can you give alcohol to a client?

Yes. A well-presented bottle is a classic year-end gift. But before ordering one, confirm three things: the person drinks, their company allows them to accept that kind of gift, and the occasion is right for it. If any of the three is missing, there are alcohol-free gifts at the same level.

This is not legal advice. What we can give you is the judgment we use with companies that order these boxes, and what is available, with prices.

When is it better not to give alcohol?

• When the client's company has a gift policy. Many companies have a code of ethics that caps the value of what employees can accept, requires them to declare it, or excludes alcoholic drinks. If you don't know, ask your contact or their assistant.
• When the recipient works for a public institution. Public institutions usually have rules about what officials can receive. For official events and visits, an institutional piece works better, as we explain in institutional gifts for ceremonies, official visits, and anniversaries.
• In healthcare. Companies that work with doctors, clinics, and hospitals usually have strict internal rules on gifts. Check with your compliance team before choosing.
• When you don't know whether the person drinks. Some people don't drink for health, religious, or personal reasons, and a bottle means nothing to them.
• When the gift is for your whole team. In a gift for many people, someone won't drink. Offer two versions at the same level or choose something else.
• When it could end up with minors, for example at a family event.

Which wine, rum, and whisky boxes are available, and what do they cost?

From RD$1,159 to RD$9,636 per unit, reference prices before ITBIS tax as of October 2026. All are in the Lemon Creativo catalog and are ready 2 to 4 days after artwork approval, except the Christmas Trunk, which takes 5 to 7.

The Box Label also comes without the tumbler, from RD$4,488. The final price depends on quantity and packaging, and we itemize it.

Wine, rum, or whisky: which one?

Whatever the person drinks. If you don't know, think about what you want the gift to say:

• Wine for year-end dinners and celebrations, and when the budget has to stretch across many people: options start at RD$1,159.
• Whisky for your most important accounts and for people you know prefer it. That is the RD$4,488 to RD$6,159 range.

Where does your brand go if the bottle isn't customized?

On what comes with the bottle. In the Box Label with tumbler and the Buchanan's box, the insulated tumbler carries your design; in the Experiencia de Lujo y Sabor set, the whisky glass is engraved; in the wine and chocolate set, the bag carries your logo; in the Dominican trunk, the wooden cigar box is engraved. You can also add a card with your message to any of them; some companies include a line about drinking responsibly, a small gesture that protects your brand.

If you'd rather not give the bottle but want to keep the theme, there are pieces that can be engraved: the crystal wine glass (from RD$746), the stainless steel hip flask (from RD$704), or the wine accessories set with chess (RD$1,879 with the box engraved), which includes a corkscrew, a stopper, a drip ring, and a chess set in a wooden box.

Which alcohol-free gift matches the same level?

One at a similar price, with a piece that stays and something to share. Three catalog options between RD$3,014 and RD$4,347:

The thing to watch most is the calendar. November and December are, after July, our busiest months, and most of these boxes are designed for Christmas and year-end.
