Premium box with Buchanan's whisky and mixed nuts in a branded box

In this article

Short answer

A VIP client appreciates a premium piece with their name on it, a handwritten card, and careful delivery. Lemon Creativo offers boxes with Dominican rum or whisky from RD$2,734 to RD$6,159 and 4-piece executive gift boxes from RD$3,352, before ITBIS. Pre-assembled boxes are ready 2 to 4 days after art approval.

What makes a VIP client gift different?

There are few recipients, and each relationship carries weight. You are not handing out gifts in volume; you are choosing for someone who accounts for a real share of your business, just signed a deal with you, or decides whether to renew.

So the rules change. Fewer pieces, better chosen. Materials that feel solid in the hand, a rigid box, and a subtle logo, engraved or in a muted color. The brand shows through the quality of the whole, not the size of the logo. And a personal touch: the client's name on one piece and a card with a real message, not a stock phrase.

If your list is long and the budget per person is lower, what you need are gift ideas for your whole client base. This article is for the accounts you cannot afford to lose.

How many clients belong on the VIP list?

Only a few. If the list includes half your clients, it is no longer a VIP list, and the budget will not stretch far enough to do it well for anyone. A practical way to build it: rank your accounts by what they bill today and what they could grow into, and keep the ones you truly cannot afford to lose. Add anyone who signed or renewed something significant this year. Everyone else goes on the general list, with a gift at the right level.

What premium options are there, and what do they cost?

Five families work well with VIP clients. Reference prices from Lemon Creativo's catalog, before ITBIS, as of September 2026:

TypeCatalog exampleReference priceWhen it fits
Box with Dominican rumLeyenda box with Dominican rumRD$2,734Year-end or a client from abroad: local flavor, well presented
Executive kit4-piece gift box with planner, pen, USB drive, and bottleRD$3,352A client who values useful desk pieces, or who does not drink
Box with whiskyBuchanan's box with mixed nutsRD$6,159Strategic accounts, renewal of a large contract
Dominican and gourmet productsBoxes with rum, chocolate, and local treatsRD$1,159 to RD$9,636Visits to the DR, thanks after a project
Large trunks and boxesTrunks with several premium piecesRD$9,636 to RD$10,922Very few accounts and a major milestone

All of them can carry your company logo on the packaging and the client's name on one piece. The final price varies with quantity, technique, and packaging, and we itemize it for you.

Should you give alcohol to a VIP client?

Only if you know they enjoy it and their company allows it. Some companies have rules about the gifts their executives can accept, and some people do not drink. If you are not sure, an executive kit or a box with coffee and Dominican products is a safe choice at the same level.

How do you personalize it without it feeling like advertising?

With the person's name and a logo that barely shows. Four details separate a company gift from one made for someone:

  • An engraved name on a piece they will keep: the planner, the tumbler, or the notebook.
  • A handwritten card from whoever owns the relationship, mentioning something specific: the project you did together, the year you closed.
  • Your company logo on the packaging, not on every piece.
  • A rigid box that arrives without a dent. If a premium gift shows up damaged, it shows the moment the box is opened.

When should you deliver it?

Not only in December. At Christmas your gift competes with every other supplier's. The moments people remember are relationship moments: signing a deal, renewing a contract, the anniversary of working together, or a client win like an expansion or a new location.

If you still give in December, plan ahead: after July, November and December are the busiest months of the year for orders.

How we prepare and deliver a VIP gift

VIP orders are usually short and carefully handled, and that is fine: we make pieces one at a time when needed, like recognition plaques, which are almost always ordered singly, with the person's name.

  1. You send the client list with each name as it should appear and, for individual delivery, each address.
  2. Within 24–48 hours you get a quote with a mockup and itemized pricing: product, branding, packaging, and delivery.
  3. You approve the art and, for a new kit, a sample.
  4. We check every piece and every name before packing.
  5. We deliver to each client's office or prepare it for you to hand over.

A pre-assembled box is ready 2 to 4 days after art approval. A new kit with special packaging takes 10 to 18 business days. Many requests reach us with the date already close, asking for the quote that same week; with VIP clients that rush shows in the result, so start earlier. Every invoice includes an electronic tax receipt (e-CF).

For options by audience, go back to the guide to corporate gifts in the Dominican Republic. If your client is visiting from abroad, read what to give a foreign client visiting the DR. For multi-piece kits for more people, the corporate kits guide will help. Our executive gifts for VIP clients page shows how we work, and if you also give to the rest of your client base, corporate gifts for companies covers the full service.

Request your quote with the number of clients and the date: you get a mockup and itemized pricing within 24–48 hours, with no commitment.

Frequently asked questions

How much should you spend on a VIP client gift?

In our catalog, as of September 2026 and before ITBIS, boxes with rum or whisky run from RD$2,734 to RD$6,159, and larger trunks and boxes reach RD$10,922. The amount depends on how much that relationship matters to your company.

Can you engrave the client's name?

Yes. An engraved name on one piece, together with a handwritten card, turns a company gift into something made for that person. We review it with you on the mockup before production.

Can you deliver to each client's office?

Yes. We deliver to each person in the National District and across the country. If you prefer to hand it over at a meeting, we prepare it ready to carry.

Do you take small orders?

Yes. A pre-assembled box counts as a piece with simple branding and is made from a few units, depending on the product; a piece engraved with one client's name, like a plaque, is made from a single unit. For a new kit with special packaging, we confirm the minimum in your quote.
