Part of the guide Corporate kits

Short answer
A department-based business kit has a shared base (something to drink from, the same logo, the same packaging) plus one or two items for each team. At Lemon Creativo in Santo Domingo, it runs from RD$1,023 for office staff to RD$5,392 for sales, before ITBIS tax (October 2026), with items ready in 2 to 7 days.

Request quoteWhy build kits by department instead of one kit for everyone?
Because each team uses different things during the day. A planner is useful to someone who spends the morning in meetings; in a warehouse, it sits in a drawer. One kit for everyone usually ends with items nobody uses in half the departments.
The fix is not four separate kits built from scratch, but one kit with two layers:
- A shared base for the whole company: something to drink from, the same logo applied the same way, and the same packaging.
- One or two items per department, chosen for what each team does: an umbrella for sales, a cap for operations, a power bank for management.
The brand looks the same across the company, and everyone gets something they will use next week.
What does each department get, and what does it cost?
This table builds a basic and a full kit for each department from real items in Lemon's catalog. Prices are per-unit reference prices before ITBIS tax, as of October 2026; each total is the sum of the items and changes with quantity, branding method, and packaging.
| Department | Typical day | Basic kit | Full kit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sales | On the road, client visits, sun and rain | 750 ml aluminum bottle (RD$572), TR-005 manual umbrella (RD$816), A5 PU notebook (RD$522), and Trocum metal pen (RD$178): RD$2,088 | 24 oz Owala-style tumbler (RD$1,372), TR-003 automatic umbrella (RD$972), semi-leather planner (RD$713), metal stylus pen (RD$260), and 10,000 mAh power bank (RD$2,075): RD$5,392 |
| Operations | Plant, warehouse, routes, or field | 650 ml sports bottle (RD$555), two-tone cap (RD$410), birdseye dry fit T-shirt (RD$517), and safety-buckle lanyard (RD$295): RD$1,777 | 40 oz Stanley Cup (RD$1,538), bull denim cap (RD$466), dry fit polo shirt (RD$874), lunch bag (RD$506), and safety-buckle lanyard (RD$295): RD$3,679 |
| Office and administration | Desk, meetings, and screens | Cork-base mug with lid (RD$513), 5 x 7" eco notebook (RD$332), and Trocum metal pen (RD$178): RD$1,023 | Cork-base mug with lid (RD$513), A5 PU notebook (RD$522), stylus pen (RD$260), mouse pad (RD$282), and rotating phone stand (RD$522): RD$2,099 |
| Management | Meetings, travel, and representation | Executive set: planner, metal pen, and insulated tumbler in a black rigid box with ribbon and card: RD$2,819 | Gift box with a phone-holder notebook, pen, and tumbler, laser engraved, with ribbon and card: RD$4,380 |
Three takeaways from the table:
- Operations does not need a notebook. It needs items that last the day: a bottle, a cap, and a garment. If the garment is worn daily, fabric matters; see birdseye, dry fit, or piqué.
- Sales is where the brand is seen most. The umbrella and the bottle go to every client visit. Automatic umbrellas and aluminum bottles are among our most-requested items since 2025.
- For management, presentation beats quantity. Three items in a rigid box with ribbon and card say more than five loose items.
Who builds the department kit: HR, procurement, or marketing?
All three, and each one owns something different. Get them aligned before requesting the quote, not after:
- HR knows who gets what: the list of people per department, sizes if garments are included, and names if any item is personalized.
- Marketing keeps the brand consistent across departments: the same logo file, colors, and packaging.
- Procurement needs itemized pricing to compare suppliers, a tax-compliant invoice (e-CF), and a lead time that can actually be met.
When one person coordinates all three, the order is settled in a single exchange. When each department orders on its own, the company ends up with three suppliers, three versions of the logo, and three delivery dates.
How many kits should each department order?
One per person, plus a margin for people who join during the year. You do not need to order for the whole company at once: our median order is 15 units and half of all orders fall between 4 and 50, so a batch of 6 kits for management and another of 40 for operations are normal orders.
Each product page shows an estimated minimum, which is one unit for almost the whole catalog. The final minimum depends on branding method and packaging, and we confirm it in the quote.
How long does a department kit take?
Each item has its own lead time on the product page, counted from artwork approval. Most take 2 to 4 days; a few, like the dry fit T-shirt, the bull denim cap, and the automatic umbrella, take 5 to 7. When the order combines several departments with special packaging or deliveries to several sites, it is planned as a full project: 10 to 18 business days, depending on volume and method. For more than 100 pieces, plan at least 15 business days.
How we build department kits at Lemon
- Brief: how many people are in each department, what each team does, the date, where it is delivered, and the budget per person. A vector logo saves a step.
- Quote within 24 to 48 hours, with a mockup of each kit and itemized pricing (product, branding, packaging, and service) by department.
- Artwork approval and, when it applies, approval of a sample.
- Production and piece-by-piece quality control.
- Packing and delivery per person, per department, or per site, so nobody has to open boxes to hand things out.
A mistake we see often: choosing items before knowing how many people are in each department. Without that count, the quote is a guess and has to be redone when the list arrives.
Something we are asked for a lot: the company logo next to each person's name. It works best on the item used every day (the mug, the bottle, or the planner), and we plan it from the brief so it does not delay delivery.
Keep each department's item list. When someone joins sales in March, you repeat the sales kit without starting over; if people join all year, see what to include in an employee welcome kit. If part of the team works in another city or from home, here is how to ship kits to remote employees.
The other kit types (welcome, events, clients, wellness) are in the custom corporate kits guide. If you would rather have someone handle everything, see how we run corporate kits for companies: one supplier, everything coordinated.
Request your quote with the headcount per department and the date: we reply within 24 to 48 hours with a mockup for each kit and itemized pricing.
Frequently asked questions
Should each department get a different kit, or should everyone get the same one?
One kit with a shared base and one or two items per department. The base (something to drink from, the same logo, the same packaging) keeps the brand consistent, and the department items keep you from gifting things a team will never use.
How much does a department-based business kit cost?
With items from Lemon's catalog, from RD$1,023 for a basic office kit to RD$5,392 for a full field-sales kit, before ITBIS tax, as of October 2026. For management, there are boxed sets in rigid boxes from RD$2,819.
Can kits be delivered sorted by department or by site?
Yes. We pack per person, per department, or per site, and deliver to one location or to several addresses. If you have several sites, mention it in your brief, since it changes the lead time.
What information do you need to quote kits by department?
How many people are in each department, what each team does, the date, the delivery location, the budget per person, and a size list if garments are included. With that, the quote arrives within 24 to 48 hours.
